Who We Work With

We work predominately with vegan and market-ready brands. Here is what we mean by these two terms:

Vegan

We are currently only accepting brands that are 100% vegan. Brands must either have a vegan certification through a third party (like PETA or Vegan Society) or have a strong and public ethics statement detailing their vegan commitment. We are willing to make exceptions to this for vegan products made by non-vegan companies that fill a pronounced gap in current offerings. For items made by companies that are not explicitly vegan, we require that the materials be clearly marked as vegan in the item description. For more information, please refer to our branding guide to determine if you brand is ready for Unicorn Goods.

Market-Ready

We work with brands that are well established enough to have their own online store and a strong visual and marketing identity. Brands must have a professionally crafted mark, unique domain name, and streamlined site. Brands must ship to the United States, and must have a site that is stable (meaning that it stays online, is free from techincal difficulties, and is not subject to drastically change structure without notice). We generally refrain from working with brands that focus on a handmade or made-at-home aesthetic, preferring instead brands that position themselves as polished and consumer-ready. If you're unsure about what this means, we encourage you to review our branding guide to determine if you brand is ready for Unicorn Goods.

Brands & Resellers

We work with brands and resellers, in that order. We will list a brand through a reseller if the brand is not a member of Unicorn Goods. We welcome resellers such as online boutiques and online marketplaces to Unicorn Goods in order to increase access to their vegan product offerings. Resellers become members of Unicorn Goods through the same process at brands through the same membership structure and rates.
